spend的用法如下：

1、在使用spend时，主语只能是表示人的名词或代词。例如：Andy spent a lot of money on books Andy。花了很多钱买书。

2、spend time/money on sth。在……上花费时间（金钱）介词on后接名词或代词。例：I spent two hours on this maths problem。这道数学题花了我两个小时。

3、spend time/money (in) doing sth。花费时间（金钱）做某事介词in可以省略。例：They spent two years (in) building this bridge。造这座桥花了他们两年时间。

4、spend money for sth。花钱买…….例：His money was spent for books。他的钱用来买书了。另外，spend也有"度过"的意思。例如：They want to spend their summer holiday in the country。他们想去乡下过暑假。
