众所周知，这些年我国经济发展迅速，课是环境污染也是越来越严重，发展经济与环境保护之间的关系问题一直为社会各界所关注。下面是某班的讨论结果，请你就此给某英文报社写一封信介绍讨论情况并简要阐述自己的观点。
1.一些同学认为经济发展不应以环境为代价。
理由：忽视环境而发展经济将对环境造成破坏。列举一些严重的环境问题。
2.一些同学认为经济发展不应考虑环境问题。
理由：发展经济必然带来环境问题，环境问题是经济发展的副产品，等以后有了钱和时间再来解决。

Dear editor,
I am xxx from xxx school.Recently we have had a debate about the relationship between economy development and environment protection.
Some students believe that we shouldn't develop our economy at the cost of environment.For example,some officials in rural places just cut lots of woods to develop the local economy,thus lead to environmental problems like landslide.
Others argue that we must develop economy despite of the damage to the environment.Environmental problems are by-product of economic development,we can handle it when we have time and money.
In my opinion, we can't develop economy on the basis of destroying environment.If we were doing in that way,we will have to eat our own bitter fruit in the future.
