as...as意为"和……一样"，表示同级的比较。

使用时要注意第一个as为副词，第二个as为连词。其基本结构为：as+ adj./ adv. +as。例如：

1、This new transformation is at least as consequential as that one was. 

这一新的转变至少和那次一样重要。

2、The pilots, however, were not as accurate as they should be. 

然而飞行员并不像他们该达到的水平那样精准。

3、Her mental capacity and temperament are as remarkable as his. 

她的才智和气质和他一样出众。

4、Although he was twice as old as us, he became the life and soul of the company.
