要区分v-ing和v-ed,也就是他们共同做非谓语动词的区别了.做谓语动词就很简单,就是时态的不同.
他们做非谓语动词的区别：v-ing表主动关系,即逻辑上的主谓关系,也就是所修饰的名词发出的动作.v-ed表被动关系,即逻辑上的动宾,也就是说是所修饰名词和动词之间是动宾关系,所修饰名词是动作的承受者.
eg:There was terrible noise following the sudden burst of light.(noise 是follow 动作的发出者)
He lost his new bike bought as his birthday present by his aunt.(bike 是buy动作的承受者)
It is the present received from her mother.(present 是receive 的承受者,是receive the present)
