学习雅思不难,只要有合理的雅思学习计划和有效的训练,一定能拿到理想雅思成绩;
也不要说 how to say, you know 等等 这些让人觉得你很烂~~

The reason why I talk about this first is because I took the Speaking part first. I actually think this is good if you don’t have the exam on the same day. I mean for me, I can be more focused. The examiners are really kind and nice. They are not that serious and horrible……When I had the speaking test, I just took it as a real conversation with a foreigner. You and the examiner are newly met friends: you started to talk with him or her, you guys started to get to know each other and you shared your opinion with him or her. In this way, you’ll never feel too nervous to speak a word. Also, be prepared. Before the exam, I did the speaking exercise on the Cambridge books from 2~7, which gave me an idea of what the test will be like, and what kind of questions I’ll get. It is really important that you get used to it. Whenever you get a topic or a question, just think about it and say it! Be brave & creative!
PS: Smile all the time and Show your confidence
Listening
About my written part, basically what I did was doing the tests on the Cambridge books form 2~6, all the listening, reading and writing. But besides, something else could be helpful: listening to BBC or VOA news and watch movies~~~ I think they could be more real and interesting than the exercise. However, sometimes I have to remind myself that I am learning and practicing my English rather than simply having fun…. One more thing, when you do the exam, be really careful and focused, try to go through the questions before listening, and write down notes when you are listening.
Reading
To tell the truth, I am always afraid of the reading part. I am not good at reading comprehension or finding the answers. When I prepared the reading part, usually I could only get 7 or so. The main problem for me is time. It’s always not enough….lol
What really matters is to build your vocabulary, to read more, and to train your skills of finding the answers. They are exactly what I need now…. I’ll keep trying…..
Writing
Well, my weakness again, Danqi knows that…. At first, still the problem of time. But later when you do more exercise, it’ll be fine. What is important, at least for me, is that every time you do it, do it with time limit. In that case, you’ll feel the time pressure. Just do it as like as the real exam. Also, pay attention to your handwriting, at least be recognizable~ Besides, some of the writing samples are good. I can always learn something from them: vocabularies, useful phases, ideas, etc.
Well, that’s how I feel and prepare for the exam. I really really hope it’ll do a little help for you friends who are still preparing for it. Good luck everyone! You will nail it!!!
