Abstract: Domestic violence is the violent behaviors happening among the family members. The increasingly severe domestic violence damages the physical and mental health of the victims, and encroaches the legal rights of them, and furtherly breaks the stability and development of the society, therefore, it has been widely concerned by the whole society. There was lack of studying in Chinese domestic violence, however, as the change of people's mindset and the evolution of the society, the ever hidden domestic violences have been exposed gradually, and the reports about the domestic violences can be seen frequently. For the sake of providing more comprehensive, specific and appropriate assistant, and to get better social effect, we need to build a wide social support system, in terms of law, society and psychology. In this situation, it is more necessary that the academic organization should study and provide the standard of domestic violence, investigating on the real evidence, analyzing the reason of domestic violence, giving the suggestion of prevention, and providing the theoretical principles for the legislatures to make and improve the legislation regarding the domestic violence.
