Return On Invested Capital (ROIC) = (Net Income – Dividends) / Total Capital
or = (Net Operating Profit - Ajusted Taxes) / Invested Capital

Return On Equity (ROE) = Net Income/Shareholder's Equity
Return on equity measures a corporation's profitability by revealing how much profit a company generates with the money shareholders have invested.
