Visa
A valid passport and visa are required for entry into the Republic of Korea. Students applying for the International Exchange and Study Abroad Program are required to obtain a valid Student Visa (D-2). Upon acceptance at Ewha, the students will be issued an Acceptance Letter and Certificate of Admission for visa purposes. A Valid short-term stay visa (C-3) is required for students applying for the International Co-Ed Summer School Upon acceptance at Ewha, students will be issued an Acceptance Letter for visa purposes. This visa guarantees stay and study in Korea for 90 days. It is against government regulations for persons with a Tourist Visa to take college classes. Two weeks or more may be needed to obtain your visa, so do not delay.
Five steps getting to Korea :
1. Counsel with the International Administrator or professors of your home university concerning studies at Ewha.
2. Apply to OGA, Ewha with fully completed application materials.
3. Apply for a Student Visa to the Korean embassy or Korean Counsel in your home country with the Certificate of Admission and the Acceptance Letter OGA sent you.
4. Receive the appropriate Student Visa for your study.

Health Insurance
A copy of your overseas health insurance certificate should be submitted when applying for the International Exchange and Study Abroad Program, and the International Co-Ed Summer School. Students are required to check their insurance policies carefully for coverage in foreign countries and especially in Korea. Upon arrival to Ewha, you will be asked to pay a Campus Health Service Center fee of 20 USD per semester. This fee covers medical services, prescription and medicine for common discomforts such as cold and indigestion.
Registration
Students, enrolled in the International Exchange and Study Abroad Program, and the International Co-Ed Summer School are required to Pre-register during the given period.
