My favourite season is summer. I like summer because it's a season of enthusiasm. In summer, everything turns energetic. We are the most efficient to do things at this period of time. What's more, we are able to do a lot of sports and activities in summer. The trees and grass become very green and beautiful and I like that colour for what it represents. It is a symbol of hope. And with hope, we are motivated and creative. So summer is also the season of hope. We are able to take cold drinks in summer which is my favourite as well. In a word, I like summer, because it makes me energetic and gives me hope.

There are four seasons in a year: spring, summer, autumn and winter. Each season has three months.
Spring is the first season of the year. In this part of the world, the spring months are March, April and May. In spring, the weather gets warmer and the fields turn green. This is a busy time for the peasants.
Summer begins in June. Then come July and August. During the summer months, the plants and flowers are at their best.
Next come the autumn months: September, October and November. Autumn is a wonderful season. The fields are golden with crops. It is the time for harvest and the peasants are very busy. Winter is the last season of the year. December, January and Febmary are the winter months, it is cold in winter. The days are short and the nights are long. In many places it snows. On New Year's Day, we wish each other a happy New Year.

I remember when I was a small child,my favorite season was winter.But one thing made me change my mind.
I loved playing in the garden and climbing trees when I was small.But I realized one autumn day that golden leaves had started to fall from my favorite tree,and by winter its branches were already bare.I thought that it had died,and would never turn green again.
When my father knew why I was crying,he told me:“The tree hasn’t left you.It’s just resting.I promise in three months,that tree will be prettier than ever.” I believed what my father said and waited for three months.
Sure enough,when the time came,the tree was greener and taller than ever.Sprouts started to stretch their heads out of the melting snow,and creeks and streams started to run again freely.
From then on,spring has become my favorite time of the year because its vitality brings me happiness.
