Skipping Classes On College Campus
Although there are some strict rules about skipping classes, it is still easy for us to find this kind of phenomenon happening every once in a while around us.
According to me, a college student myself, I subjectively analyse the causes of this phenomenon. Firstly, the circumstance in college campus is considerably different from the one in high school. With no great pressure coming from the national college entrance examination, students seems to be the birds flying leisurely in the sky of the college which had been chained in the cages for a long time.Consequently for them, they have no ability to control this obviously enormous contrast temporarily.Secondly, the great charm of the splendid computer games makes so many students addictive. Wallowing in the unreal world, they cannot pull them out and make time to have classes.
Based on the two points above, school authority should take some actions to settle this problem. It is necessary to set some classes for fresh men on how to adapt to the college life. What's more, teachers should improve their teaching qualities to attract student's interest.Only in this way can we reduce the truancy phenomena as soon as possible.
