Often the first important decision a college student will face is the choice of living on campus or off campus. Student must weigh the pros and cons of these two alternatives carefully.
Basically living in a dorm is cheaper. Students don't have to go grocery shopping and pay utility bills such as gas, electricity, maintenance, internet, water, etc. A university or college provides residence students with these services and facilities for free and eating in the food court on campus is usually not expensive. Moreover, living in a dorm is convenient to access to the classroom. it can be really costly in time and money to get to school for students living off campus. However, living off campus is more flexible and challenging. Many of the students find the experience of living off campus more fun. You can furnish the room just the way you like it to be. You can have whatever you want for today's dinner. You can put together a house party when you feel like. There aren't too many house rules in an apartment or a house. The only thing that you'd have to be aware of is money and time.
