Mozart was born in Salzburg on Jan 27 ,1756 . His full name is too long for us to remember . When he was a little boy he was called Wolferl .
Young Mozart always had new tunes ( 曲调 ) playing in his head . When he had no one to play with , he would sit down at a table and write down all the tunes .
When his sister Nannerl was seven and Wolferl was three , papa started teaching her to play the piano . Little Wolferl could not stay away ! He loved hearing her play . He would sit on the floor , playing with his toys while she practiced her music .
They could hardly keep him away from the piano . After her lessons ,he would come up to the piano ,stand on his toes ,reach up with his little fingers and gently ( 轻轻的) touch the keys .
Young Mozart could write exactly what he felt . When he was happy , he would write a happy , fast tune . When he was sad , he would write a slower tune . The people of Salzburg always heard music as they passed by the Mozart home . They loved the new and beautiful tunes . Many people were so curious ( 好奇 ) that they would ask papa , “ where did you find these beautiful tunes ?” Papa , who was so proud of his son , would shout out , “ My son wrote them himself !” People thought papa was just joking . But we know he was telling the truth .
