As we can see in the cartoons, an old lady asked her husband to give some opinions on her writing. Her husband said without hesitation that it's awesome(great/good/). The woman asked again to make sure that her husband was telling the truth. And he repeated that it's really great. The woman seemed really happy and kissed her husband to express her gratitude. However, after the woman leaving, the man told his dog :"Sometimes, we need to learn to tell some kind lies."
In my opinion this old man is really clever and kind. If some lies without harmful can make our families and friends feel happy, there is no doubt that it's Ok to tell them.
