宾语从句

方法总结： 在句子中作宾语的句子叫做宾语从句，宾语从句放在动词或介词后面。做题时需注意三个方面: 1、从句为陈述语气2、从句时态与主句动词的时态保持一致3、人称变化时需符合逻辑
一、知识要点
一、当由陈述句充当宾语从句时，用that引导，that无词义，在口语或非正式文体中常省略。如：
She said that she would leave the message on the
headmaster's desk.
He said that he could finish his work before supper.他说他会在晚饭前完成工作
二、当由一般疑问句充当宾语从句时，用if或whether引导，意为“是否”。如：
Alice wanted to know if/whether her grandmother liked the
bag.
I don't know whether he'll come the day after tomorrow.我不知道他后天是否会来
在下列情况下，只能用whether,不能用if.
1.当其后紧跟or not时,往往用whether(if…or
not也可以使用)。如：
Let me know whether / if he will come or not.(= Let me
know whether or not he will come )
I don't know whether / if he does any washing or not.(= I
don't know whether or not he does any washing. )
I wonder whether we stay or whether we go.
2.在介词后 e.g. I’m not interested in whether he likes
English.
3. 在不定式前 e.g. He hasn’t decided
whether to visit the old man.
4. whether引导的从句放在主句前，不能用if。
Whether this is true or not, I can’t say.
5. 引导主语从句和表语从句时用whether。
Whether we can catch the bus is a question. /
The question is whether we can catch the question..
6. 若用if产生歧异时，要用whether。
Please let me know whether you like the book.(是否)
If you like the book, please let me know. （如果）
三、如果宾语从句原来是特殊疑问句，只需用原来的疑问词引导。如：
Could you tell me where we will have the meeting this
afternoon?
I don't know who bought the present for me. Is it Jack?
主句是一般现在时，从句保持原有时态；主句是一般过去时，从句改为相应的过去时如一般过去时、过去完成时、过去进行时、过去将来时等，客观事实和自然现象除外。
