On Mother’s Day last year ,Peter tried to buy a present for his mother. He went into a shop, which had a sign out side. “Second hand clothes, bought and sold. “ He was carrying an old jacket and asked the owner of the shop, “How much will it cost?” The man looked at it and then said, “Three dollars.”
“What? I thought it was 7 dollars!” said Peter.
“No, I won’t pay more than three dollars.” Said the man.
“Well,here is the money.”said Peter, “This jacket is outside your store, which said 7 dollars. But I thought that was too much money, so I wanted to make sure how much it really was?”
Before the surprised owner could think of anything to say. Peter left the store with the jacket happily.

Mrs Green could not find her ring. She had put it on the TV, Now it was gone. She said,"I will put another one on the TV and see who takes it."
Mrs Green was surprised. The window was open and a bird came into the house. It took the ring and went back to its nest in a tree. Mrs Green's son went up the tree to look in the nest. In the nest he found both of his mother's rings.
