less是比较级吗

less是little的比较级，反义词是more，意思和“数量”有关。less可以修饰不可数名词（less food），也可以作代词或量词（have less to do、less of the money ），都表示“数量较少”。

less还可以修饰形容词（比如：less expensive = not as expensive as ...）和副词（比如：less quickly = not as quickly as ...），或作状语（work less = work not as much as ...）。

既然less已经是比较级了，那就不可能再有比较级了，所以，虽然lesser看起来很像less的比较级，但其实它并不是less的比较级。
