英语翻译：我记不清你这是第几次上课迟到了。

Prior to posting here, I've turn to online dictionary for help, which suggest a phrase,"I can't tell this is the severalth time.......". I suspect it's a typo. Is there some other correct way to express the same idea and corresponds perfectly to the structure of such sentence?

Wow, quite a detailed answer. But it seems to me kind of awkward to say "this is how many times".

Thank you for your answer. It looks fine. But I want to stress that, this is, in particular,the Nth time you are late, which I should have been able to recall, but for some reason, i.e. the times you're late are too many to enumerate, I fail.

let me put it this way. The purpose you say this is not to discuss about if you remember or not the number of times that guy was late. And the truth is you don't remember. Saying "I don't remember" simply tells the truth that you don't remember. And what? You want an answer?

By saying "I can't tell" you mean "I don't even want to talk about how many times you've been late."

So you got the difference?

Thank you for your patient explanation, but that's not what I refer to as the "typo". The "typo" I refer to is "time's", which I guess, you mean "times". To be fair, I thought it's a minor, or even a trivial one, which you and I could have saved the trouble to point it out.
