Ironically, many couples don’t want a second child, especially in the large cities. The major cause is the rising cost of living and education. The second child may hurt the quality of life for the entire family.
As an only child, my whole childhood was lonely. So when I get married, I’d like to have 2 children. They can play together and keep each other company. I think this will also be good for strengthening their characters.
