too ……（形容词）to……（动词）：太……而不能……
　　例如：1.哑雁 is too old to walk himself. 哑雁太老，不能自己走路。
　　 2.XX is too short to reach the orange on the tree. XX 太矮，够不着那棵树上的的那只 橘子。
not ……（形容词）enough to ……（动词）：不够……，不能……：My granddaughter is not old enough to go to school.我孙女儿还不够年龄，不能上学。
XX is not tall enough to reach the orange on the tree. XX 不够高，够不着那棵树上的的那只橘子。
so……（形容词/副词）that……（从句）（从句中往往有can）: 如此……以致于：
You are so clever that you can ask such a question.你如此聪明，（以致于）能提出这么好的问题
I am so stupid that I answer this question in this way.我真愚昧，（以致于）这样子回答这个问题。
You are so tall that I can't touch your shoulders.你这么高，（以致于）我够不着你的肩膀。

2 不足够 It's many enough to eat for me. 够吃了，加not,就是不够吃了。
3 如此……以至于 It's so many that I can't eat them all. 太多了，以至于我都吃不了了。that后加句子。
