A storm to the southeast of Tasmania will continue to approach New Zealand throughout the day, bringing rain and winds to the nation by late evening. Melbourne should see high temperatures in the mid-70s(F)/ mid-20s(C) while Auckland will be cool with highs in the upper 50s(F)/ mid teens(C).
