Mo Yan is the first Chinese writer who has won the Nobelpriset i litteratur. In 20C 50s ,he was born in Gaomi . He dropped out in a very young age and left home for army when 21. Mo's novels are mostly setting in Gaomi , in which the place inspired him a lot through his 30-year writing life.There are many people knowing about Mo because of Zhang Yimo's movie : [Red Gaoliang] . The movie was adapted from Mo's same name novel published in 1986 . Besides , Mo said that winning the award was out of his expectation .
