I am a freshman. I am faced with many English courses, which really troubles me because I am not good at English. I am afraid I cannot handle them.So I ask some senior students how to learn English.
They give me lots of suggestions. First of all, I need to listen to English more. VOA and BBC are both excellent materials for listening. Then, I should recite more words to enlarge my vocabulary. Also trying to write articles is remended.
At the very beginning, I can hardly understand VOA and BBC. I am in despair. However, I keep listening again and again. After two weeks, my listening ability improves a lot. I am quite satisfied.
From this, I conclude that even if you are faced with difficulties, don't be afraid and just go ahead. You will succeed one day if you keep working hard.
