①But when I began working in the hospital as a nurse, my life ____. 横线上是填transformed还是was transformed？我觉得都可以呀，好像没有明显的被动提示啊。。。但老师说是was transformed。求解释。

②Just as I went to the gate, I surprisingly found that a boy of about eleven, looking/ looked very familiar, was sleeping at the door with his head leaning against a box.这里为什么选looking而不是looked呢？有人说是I主动看boy，所以是主动。可是我觉得好像不是这样呀。。请详细讲解一下所涉及的语法知识，谢谢！！！

③I remember I once was ill in hospital and wasn't able to attend school. 这里的once位置放错了吗？我查了一下，说once要放在be动词后面，可是如果这样的话读起来有点奇怪呀。。。

④Luckily, it was our class monitor who visited me every day and offered to make up the missing course for me, thanks to whom I didn't fail the final exam. 这句话我自己写作文的时候写的，不知道对不对。求指点。

⑤Helping people in their need will add charm to your personality, thus makes/ making you a likable person. 这里要选makes还是making？跟前面那个thus有关系吗？

第一题生活是不会自己改变的，生活由人掌控，所以是被动。第二题不能用look是系动词，你说你听说过“被看上去...”吗，这个句子应该属于伴随。第三题的话，once的位置十分随意的，只要不把句子弄成破句，怎样都是可以的，但是最好还是模仿外国人的习惯，这样还是很顺畅的。第四句的话句子太过冗长，作文中最好不要用定语从句，这在外国人看起来很幼稚，很少使用，而且这应该是两句句子，第一句句子应在THANKS是止步，第二句定语从句的先行词没有，没有一个名词，后面的定语从句该修饰谁呢。第五句中THUS作连词，用MAKING，动名词作主语
