摘要 There are both benefits and disadvantages of being in university. I certainly enjoy more freedom and more independence from when I was in high school. I also think that living in residence helps me to learn important life skills such as taking care of myself and being mindful of my roommates. As for the academic life of university, I am taking the courses that I am interested in and I feel very motivated by my peers' hard work and work ethic. These are the main advantages of life in university.

As for some disadvantages, your university can be far away from home and students can feel very homesick. I think that we all miss our friends and family back home. We might feel lonely and even helpless when we encounter all sorts of problems or challenges. It is hard to make it on our own, and some universities lack a supportive community.
