1.In my opinion, I will give him or her a suggestion that although studying is the most important task for a student, taking part in social practice is also a part of campus life. The first reason why I give this advice is that activities can improve our social skills. For example, working for a home for the aged can improve our talking skills. You know, it is hard for the old and the young to bridge the generation gap between them. Secondly, it is a nice method to relax oneself. After studying for a long time, enjoying an activity like working for a church may not only help others, but also stop studying to go out for a break. Isn’t that wonderful?
2.If I major a new subject, I may follow the following steps. First, I will meet my teacher at the first time and make sure if he could recognize me in order to receive the help from him or her easily. It is known to all that the first semester for a starter is really hard especially the foreign language class as the teacher talks in an unfamiliar language. Then I mat surf the internet or go to the library to find some information about the new subject. The knowledge can decrease the problems. For example, if I take biology class and know how to use microscope, I won’t err frequently.
3.As for me, I prefer listening or watching news every day. Because it may not take me much time to know what happened today. I can surf the internet with my cell phone and read the news. If I am busy these days, I may just look at the topics of the news and not feel out of date. The second reason why I read news every day is that the news I read can become the topic of conversations among my friends and I. I think discussing about politics or new technology is much better than talking about weather or keeping in silence when I find nothing to communicate with them.

2Today I would like to talk about how I learn English when I was in high school. First, I usually listened very carefully to my English teacher and at the same time I took notes on my book. This really helped me to organize the teacher’s points after class. Also, I like watching some English TV programs and listening to English news. For example, BBC and VOA are my favorite programs. Besides, I sometimes went to the people’s park with my friends on weekend because there were many foreign people there. While talking with foreign people, I always made mistakes, but I never gave up. So now I can speak English quite fluently.

3In my opinion, I prefer to watch or listen to news occasionally. First it is unnecessary to watch or listen to news every day. If I always follow closely every piece of news every day, it would be a waste of time. And with the time saved from this, I can do my assignments or listen to my favorite music. Also, not all of the information from the reports is what you really need to know. Since a certain part of news is not true, it is quite important for us to choose what kind of news we need and what we don’t need, what is fake news and what is not. So it is why I prefer to watch or listen to news occasionally.
