prefer to do和doing的区别：

prefer to do强调特定的或某此具体的动作，即在一定的场合下宁愿做什么。prefer doing强调一般性倾向，即对某种行为的偏爱。prefer to do表示暂时性的喜欢。

prefer doing表示长时间的，一贯性的喜欢。to do一般表示一次性，doing表示经常性。

prefer to do和prefer doing都是宁愿做某事，暗含比较。如：I prefer to read a newspaper=I prefer reading a newspaper.（比起某事，我宁愿读报纸。）但这里“比起某事”是暗含在意思里的。而prefer doing to
