1·I'm glad to be writing to introduce the five mascots of the Beijing Olympic Games to you. .
On the evening of November 11th, 2005, the 29th Beijing Olympic Games ˊ mascots, the Friendlies, were released with the focus of the whole world. The five delicate and adoring Friendlies symbolize various images, “Beibei” for the fish, “Jingjing” for the pandas, “Huanhuan” for the Olympic torch, “Yingying” for the Tibetan antelopes, “Nini” for the swallows. Together they have the implication “ Welcome to Beijing ”, showing the sincerity and enthusiasm of the Chinese people. These heart painstakingly designed Friendlies represent the mysterious and attractive Chinese traditional culture, passing peace, friendship, progress and harmony to every corner of the world.
2·May 12th is an ordinary day in 2008,itis in this day that shocking earthquake happened in Sichuan province,China.The earthquake destroyed nearly everything in Wenchan county Sichuan province. It was terrible.We can't describle the scene what we saw with any words.thousands of people were injured even died. And thousands of children became such unlucky ones who lost fathers or mothers , they longed to have families to continue their lives .I am sympathetic to their fate ! But I believed that we can fight against the fate and change it .For example ,there many people keeping living without food or water for about 100 hours during the earthquake!

4·As the development of the society,the Internet plays an more and more important role in our life.However,everything has two sides.The advantage of the Internet is that we could find the information we want,download the files and send &receive the E-mail.On the other side,more and more youth are so absorbed in the E-game,chating that they are waste of the time and energy.Therefore,as far as I am concerned,we should make good use of the Internet!
5·Cell phones have become increasingly popular in China these days. Wherever you go you can see people using cell phones. Many college students, even high school students, have cell phones.
Cell phones have brought people a lot of benefits, but the most important is that they are convenient. With cell phones in their hands, they can keep in touch with anybody they want. If they want to get some information from the Internet, they can easily have their dream realized via cell phones too. Furthermore, if someone has a heart attack or a traffic accident, a call to emergency hospital or to the police can quickly bring him the help he wants.
However, cell phones can also bring people problems. The most serious is the electric wave radiation which is thought to be harmful to users’ brains. Another problem is that when people are having a meeting or having a class or at a concert etc, the ring of the cell phone may interrupt others. So I think people should use cellphones as little as possible and turn them off when they are attending important meetings or attending classes
6·Protect Our Environment
It is important to beal with the rubbish in cities.
Our world was colorful,beautiful and full of life. But these years, people have built many factories along rivers. Many trees have been cut down. Many animals have lost their homes. Factories cause pollution. Rivers become polluted.
As a student, you should do every things in your everyday life to protect them.
First, stop wasting more water.
Second, throw waste things into different dustbins. For example, waste paper should be throw into paper recyclable bins.
Third, stop cutting down trees. Instead, plant more.
Fourth, pick up garbage in the park or on the road when we are free.
Last, call on more and more people to pay attention to contrlling pollution.
In a word, everybody has his duty to protect the world.

The Olympic Games are held every four years in a different city in the world. Athletes from different countries compete in a variety of sports which are divided into winter and sum mer games.
The Olympics began in Greece more than 2 700 years ago. The first recorded Olympic competition was held in 776 B. C. It was held in an outdoor stadium and about forty thousand people watched the event. The first thirteen Olympics consisted of only one race running. The games had been held regularly for about 1 200 years. Then, in the year 397 the Olympics were prohibited by the Roman Emporor.
It was not until 1896 that the first Olympics of modern times were held in Athens. From then on the games are held every four years rugularly. The Olympics have become the world's most important athletic events and a symbol of sporting friendship of all the people of the world.
2、汶川大地震
Wenchuan, a small city, was destroyed by the earthquake. Many people were buried underground. Many houses were collapsed.
The army comes to help people save some people who were buried underground. People said thanks to them.
The force of the earthquake is very big. But people don't afraid it. People around the world contributed money to Wenchuan. We wish Wenchuan will become more and more beautiful.
What an unbelievable thing it is! Their great spirits showed the powerful life vitality of humans! However, they must keep fighting against the death .Many schools were destroyed and there were many students and teachers who left us forever. Sadness, hopelessness and different kinds of danger spreaded out here and there!
But ,fortunately ,love is around us :the Communist party helps us ,the army helps us ,the people all over the world help us .They offer us with money ,goods, love and so on !For example ,li Lian ji, a warm-hearted man ,offered us with 20 million yuan !
With the help of the such a large love, we will over come the damage of the earthquake and face our beautiful future!

1 Being online is no longer something strange in our life. To some degree,it has become part of our daily life. We can do a lot of things online,such searching for information and communicating with friends far and near. But recently another helpful online activity has become very "in". That is online education.
Why could online education be so popular within such a short period of time? Among other reasons, the quick development of the internet should be an essential one, which makes all our dreams of attending class in the distance possible. Another underlying reason is the quick development of both society and technology. Today, modern science and technology we all feel an urgent and strong desire to study. However, due to study full time at school. Online education just comes to their aid.
2 Personally, I appreciate this new form of education. It's indeed a helpful complement to the traditional education means. It can provide different learners with more flexible and versatile ways of learning. Most of all, with online education, we can sick to our jobs and at the same time study and absorb the latest knowledge.
nowadays,there is trendency that more and more people decide to take courses on line. life education have formed its new shape:online education.
from my point of view,the reasons for this are that:modern people have a increasing pace of life and have no other choice to take better education,and the internet solve the problem by its unique superior. it have many schudule to take and reduce the distinct of space.becides, we can mkae a face-to-face communication by internet just like having a private teacher.
i support this new way to study. how comfortable it is to learn what i need in anytime i want and browse numbers of useful information without leaving home for a step! i hold the point that,there must will be broad future for online education to grow.and it will do many people a help to get further development.
