to get the area of the top, we need to get the circumstance of the circle, so, we do:

10/8 which gives us 1.25 which is the circumstance of the circle at the top of the cylinder(circumstance of top).
This allows us to calculate the area of the top, we do:
1.25/pie then divide by 2 which equals 0.198943....that is the radius of the area top。
Now, use the radius to find the area of the circle:
0.198943.... square x pie=0.12433....
which then round up to 2 d.p is 0.12
