题目是：some people say that it is the responsibility of individuals to save money for their own care after retire.To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is hard to say whether one's responsibility to save money after their retirement or not. Because we have no idea of the life after retirement, we do not know the situation of social security will be, and at the same time we do not know whether our descendant has the ability to take care of us. However, when facing such problems, there are two different opinions: some people say that the retired people should have saved enough money for their own care after they stopped working, while others think that the state should pay the bill. I tend to agree with for former opinion. I believe that when people are young, they should work hard to save enough money for their retirement. Although the country should provide certain financial assistance because the citizens paid taxes, one should not depend on the government to provide extra funding other than beyond basic means. In addition, the life after retirement is basically a private issue that the retirees need to take control. Because only the individuals themselves can understand and have the expectation of the kind of life style they will like to live. For example, whether they want to keep two cars and still have plenty of money to go on vacation twice a year, or, they want to move to a small apartment because they cannot afford anything fun. These are the decision only the individuals themselves can make, so they are the only ones who can plan when they are still working. Therefore, I believe for the major part, it is the responsibility of individuals to save enough money for their own care after retirement.
