What I want to say is that if you can't continue to study because of financial difficulties at home, you can seek social help, go to the bank for loans, and borrow money from relatives and friends. 

You should tell your parents the importance of continuing to study and ask them to help you win the opportunity to study. I hope you can overcome the difficulties and return to school.

听说你最近因为家里经济困难放弃了读书，听到这件事我感觉很失落。我想说的是家里经济困难没办法让你继续读书的话，你可以寻求社会的帮助，或者去银行贷款，还可以跟亲戚朋友借钱。你要告诉父母你继续读书的重要性，请求他们帮你争取读书的机会。希望你能克服困难，重返校园。

Dear Lucy,
Hearing that you wanted to drop out of school for financial reasons, I decided to write you this letter. First of all, I want you to know that even though I understand how this must be a very difficult decision for your parents and you to make, I still think there always are better options than quitting school.
I can't stress strong enough on how education is crucial in surviving in this society where competition is absolutely fierce, and I know you know it too well for me to bring out the long nagging speech.
Second of all, however tough the situation might be, I want you to know that you will always be supported by me and all of us in school. We could organize a fund raize, talk to the chairman of our school about lowering your tuition fee, or go to local government for help. Too many choices than to give up like that.
Finally, send my best regards to your parents, and let them know about how we as a united group can help you. I believe they will agree with me, and we could work this problem out together.
