Though my daily life is extremely monotonous, I try hard to adapt myself to it. Why? Because I intend to be a good student. I wish to render service to my country.
I get up at six o’clock every day. After I wash my face and brush my teeth, I begin to review my lessons. I go to school at seven o’clock.
After school is over, I return home. We usually have supper at seven o’clock.Then I begin to do my homework. I want to finish it before I go to bed.

There is no doubt that happiness is the most precious thing in the world. Without it, life will be empty and meaningless. If you wish to know how to get happiness, you must pay attention to the following two points.
First, health is the secret of happiness (the key to happiness). Only a strong man can enjoy the pleasure of life.
Secondly, happiness consists in contentment. A man who is dissatisfied with his present condition is always in distress.

As is well known, books teach us to learn life, truth, science and many other useful things. They increase our knowledge, broaden our minds and strengthen our character. In other words, they are our good teachers and wise friends. This is the reason why our parents always encourage us to read more books.
Reading is a good thing, but we must pay great attention to the choice of books. It is true that we can derive benefits from good books. However, bad books will do us more harm than good.

A TRIP TO THE COUNTRY 乡村游记
One Sunday my mother (Mother) had (made) me take my little young brother to the a trip to the country. She bade me take good care of him.
While we were walking along the road, the sun was shining brightly and the breeze was blowing gently. We saw the beautiful flowers smile (smiling) at us and heard the birds sing (singing) their sweet songs on the trees. The scenery was indeed very pretty (beautiful).
When we felt tired, we returned home. We saw Mother (our mother) wait (waiting) for us at the door.
有一个星期日，我母亲叫我带小弟弟去乡村游历。她吩咐我要好好照料他。

BE PATRIOTIC 要爱国
It is the duty of every citizen to make the country rich and powerful (To make the country rich and strong is...). In order to accomplish this object one must be patriotic (love his country). I consider this an unchangeable truth.
How can a student love his country (be patriotic)? I find my answer very simple and clear. He must study hard and store up knowledge so as to serve his (the) country in the future. If every student can do according to what I said, the country will certainly be rich and powerful.
要使国家富强是每个公民的责任。为了达到此目的，必须爱国。我认为这是一条不易的定理。

It was the second day of our summer holiday. I felt good. I felt I am free. I had a lot of time to do things I like. My parents are in Zhongshan. So I live alone but I don’t feel lonely. But I didn’t do something special. I stayed at home and watched TV. Oh! I wrote an Englishdaily composition. It was my homework. Today, I have slept for 14 hours.I thought I was very tired. It was time for dinner. I must go! I am very hungry.

Today I found time was a cruel thing. Whatever man is, time always goes on. It won’t stay to wait for somebody. You can’t use anything to exchange time. Time is also a fair thing. Although you have a lot of money or you enjoy high reputation, time won’t leave them more. Today I found I hadn’t enough time. Although I have more than a-month holiday, but I found I had a lot of things to do. I had a lot of homework to do and I am essential to complete the homework as soon as I have time.

I have rested for 10 days. In these days, I felt very bored. I didn’t know to do what. Although I had a lot of things to do, I felt uncomfortable. I was ill because of the hot weather. I was tired, sleepy and had no strength. My parents are worried about my health. in fact, it didn’t matter. I was always in the room with air-conditioner and opened it in a low temperature. So when I went out, the high temperature disagreed to me.At last, I was ill.

It was sunny today. I was excited. I got up at a quarter to seven. I made a appointment to meet at nine o’clock. After I had my breakfast, I went to the Wanjia Market . It was hot outside. When I arrived, my friends didn’t arrive. I waited for him in front of the KFC’s door. I haven’t seen them for a year. And in a year, we didn’t come into contact with others frequently. About ten minutes left, my friends arrived one by one. After we greeted,we went to play basketball in Liwan Gymnasium. The match last for tow hours.Oh!I fill very happy today!

Yesterday we played happily, but there were only ten people. I remembered last year there were twenty-two people at all. I heard some my friends had gone abroad. They went abroad to study. I have a nice pencil case. It is orange and black.

There is a ruler, an eraser and some pencils in it. They are good friends. They often help each other. When the pencil writes wrong words, the eraser often helps it rubber them away. When the pencil wants to draw a straight line, the ruler often helps it draw the straight line.

If I want to have a good score, I can’t without them.

I am very happy today.
Today I have received the highest honour as I obtained full mark and finally beat Xiaoming in the English test.I have been famous for my ability of studying English and eventually I showed my true power today.Those people who are gossiping behind my back should shut up now.
After school,when I went home, I found a hundred dollar notes.Somebody must have been careless and dropped them.Since this is a deserted road,I would not bother returning the money as I had nowhere to go to.
Then,I helped a blind uncle crossing the road.
I feel that I am really delighted.

Near the bed, there is a small desk. There is a lamp and a telephone on the desk. There are two chairs near the desk. There are eight windows in my bedroom.

This is my bedroom. It’s clean and nice. I like it very much.

There are four seasons in a year. They are spring, summer, autumn, winter. I like autumn best. Because Autumn is beautiful. They are very happy.

On Mid—Autumn Day, we eat lots of moon cakes and enjoy the moon. The moon cakes are sweet and round, and the moon is round, too.

In autumn, the sky is blue , the water is green, the autumn is beautiful.

Last Thursday, I lost my watch on my way home. I asked my mother to buy a new watch for me.

Today we are going to buy a new watch. There are many kinds of watches in the shop. The shop keeper tells my mother that the watches made in Shanghai are nice and cheap. So my mother buys one.

I put on the new watch everyday. It can tell me the correct time. I like it very much.
