怎么教一个初一学生学英语？

我今年刚被一所大学录取，英语水平一般，不过初中知识比较扎实。然后，我正在教一个初一学生，学习英语。该学生英语水平很差，基本什么都不懂，考试就10来分。各位，教教我该怎么教他学英语。讲些什么内容，貌似他什么也不懂的。求求求！！

be patient, it's not gonna do any good if u beat him/her up.
but u have to make sure he's listening.
if he's not tell his parents or something.
i don't really know how you're suppose to teacher a middle school kid. i'm also in junior high, but in America so it's different.
