1st: i wanna declear 1st, how can i know the problems in ur study? erhhh... as about this, let me say sth about English study, with the hope of doing u some help.
as a ss, u 1st have to know what is English. i can honestly tell u that in my dictionary English is only a kind of language. then, what is language? also i definite it as this: language is only a tool for communication. so, wats the purpose 4 learning English? obviously, to communicate. all the words above are trying to tell u that English is just a language like Chinese, but not a course.correct ur attitude 1st if u wanna learn good English.
2nd: as it is a language, the final intention of learning it is speaking.try to accept that u dont learn Enlish 4 high marks, but 4 using it. English is a dead thing since it appeared in the world, but we people are alive, alive 4 creation, including language. try to make English urs. select a suitable way of expressing in English 4 urself.
3rd: just as Chinese, thr r 4 key points in English----listening, speaking, writing, and reading.
in practice listening, i suggest u listen to English songs and watching English movies.i give u some songs' and movies' name here( song: the unforgiven, travelling soldier, not ready to make nice, pon-de replay, smack that, spoiled, burning----ok, these songs have already include several types of music, selcet the one that fit u. movie: brave heart, we were soldiers, the mummy, tomorrow, shrek,etc. or maybe American pie.HOHO thr r many many good movies thr waiting 4 u.)
then, in practice speaking, the way i chose was, both speak to my English teach and to myself. of course, 4 most of the times i only ave the chance to speak 2 myself. e.g. suppose thr's somebody that u avent seen 4 a long time appeared in front of u, wat will happen next? so, take urself as several roles, and complet this situation speaking.
next, in practice writing, try to read some more out-class books or mangazines, this will greatly help u construct a feeling 4 English, and i bet it will be useful 4 the other points of English, if u really give a try.
last but not least, reading, of course u ave to understand wat others r writing to appeal. 4 this problem, u ave to enlarge ur vocabulary building. lets think about it, how can u know the meaning without understand the meanings of the key words, yeah? on enlarging vocabulary building, i dont suggest u to recite anything, but just read more, and more, and more...
on touching differrent marterials u can gradually remenber many many high-class words.

Rome is not bulit in a day, as well as learning English.If u wanna improve ur english.there goes many ways.

1.For listening, you'd better listen as much as you can. The listening material u can choose is the news from Voa or bbc,specially about business news.And u also can download some audio material from the website The most important thing is to stick to it. If you stick to, your listening comprehension will be improved fast.

2.For oral english, you'd better read more and grasp any chances to practice, you can join some english corners and talk with others.

3. For writing, you must write more and in the meanwhile u should accumulate more vocabularies and useful sentences. Also, you can join a engish group to chat with others by QQ or MSN.

4. Another important thing is reading. Read something you can find everyday and stick to it.

The most important thing is to stick to it. If you stick to, your english will be improved a lot.Always remember that practice makes perfect.
