59. 因为是表否定，如果用no one（没有人） 的话，后面的of us就不能有了，none of + 名词的复数形式或者人称代词的复数形式。
58. 关于ought 的用法，虚拟语气，本应该做的事情而事实上没做, ouhgt to have done sth. 句子意思是 前天他本应该向老板报告这个事情的。
57. 词的区别。 likewise (副词)同样地;也 （例句：Watch him and do likewise.留心看并照做。）
similar (形容词)类似的；同类的；(例句：Make a similar conversation。做类似的对话)
这里是用副词修饰动词吧，所以是不能用形容词的啊。
56. relations 多指人与人之间的关系，而connection 指的是 连接，联系。
55. 原形lie, 过去式为lay(躺);laid 是lay 的过去式

根据句子的理解来看，因为害怕说出让自己后悔的话，他抑制了自己的情感。 故选A
