请英语好的朋友帮助纠正一下翻译错误：“其实对于大多数的科目，我都不是很有信心，而这学期有。。。”

（中文是想要表达的意思，翻译不必和中文完全一样）

中文部分：
其实对于大多数的科目，我都不是很有信心，而这学期有一门关于php的入门课程，让我有了信心。
由于我之前的工作经验，已经掌握了这门课大多数的知识点，我希望靠着门课挽回我上学期学渣的形象。
也希望靠这么课能够多和当地的同学交流交流，交上一些当地的朋友。

我的翻译：
Actually I always don't have much confidence about my subjects since I came to Australia as an oversea student, but there has an introduction subject about PHP in this semester which I have a really good confidence. I already handle the most of this subject knowledge because I have work experience before. I hope I'm could use this subject to change the other people's think that I'm a really bad learner. And also, I hope I could make more friends with local people by discussion this subject.

Actually I always don't have much confidence about my subjects since I came to Australia as an oversea student, but there is an introduction subject about PHP in this semester which gives me enough confidence , for I have already grasped most points of this subject knowledge while learning from my previous experience. I hope I can change the others' original bad impression on me . And also, I hope I could make friends with more local people by discussing this subject.
