英语之定语从句，只用who不用that时指物还是指人？

1 如果先行词是物的话，而且在从句中做主语或者宾语的话，引导词只能用that或者which，肯定不能用who了。
The book which I bought yesterday is very interesting
2 如果先行词既有物又有人，那么引导词只能用that
We are talking about the things and the people that we met during our trip.
这里先行词是 the things and the people，所以引导词只能用that。
