<The Lord of the Rings> was a series of books that were written by J.R.R.Tolkien. The story was talking about the protagonist Frodo Baggins, a Hobbit, got the One Ring from his uncle Bilbo Baggins. Bilbo’s friend, Gandalf told him to bring the Ring to the Elf-King Elrond. King Elrond then invited a lot of represents from different forces to join the meeting that discussing how to deal with the Ring. Everyone was told that if the Ring was taken back to Sauron, the whole earth would be destroyed. Consequently it was necessary to throw the Ring into the volcano, Mount Doom------that was the unique way to destroy the Ring and its evil master Sauron. Finally they organized a team composed of Aragorn, Legolas, Gandalf, Boromir, Gimli, Frodo, Sam, Pippin, Merry to deal with this task. They got on their way at once. And Sauron knew this. He sent out his army to grab his treasure. After a number of hard battles, they finally reached the Mountain and finished their assignment. Sauron was defeated once for all. And the middle-earth became peaceful again.
