前天是一个很特殊的日子——不只是因为它是10月1号。更重要的是在今天是中华人民共和国60周年华诞，而第14次阅兵式也会在今天举行。
对于阅兵式，在这次庆典之前我的记忆一直是停留在99年的那一次。但过了10年，记忆早已模糊不清，只依稀记得雄姿英发的军人们迈着整齐的正步从长安街上走过。这一点记忆在此后时不时勾起我对阅兵式的向往，后来也就逐渐淡去了——直到今天，我的向往又再一次被勾了起来。脑海中又浮现出那一群身着绿色军装的子弟兵们，又响起了他们每一次踏在沥青地上那铿锵有力的脚步声。
国庆庆典大概都是这样：领导讲话，升旗，检阅部队，军队过场，武器展示，群众游行。然而直至阅兵式结束后，留在我心中的不是领导庄严的讲话，不是飘扬的红旗，不是先进的装备，也不是欢腾的群众游行，——留在我心中的是三军仪仗队的正步声。
当整个广场除了仪仗队之外全然肃静，只剩下他们正步于地面碰撞的声音在广场上空上飘扬：像鹅卵石撞在一样清脆，又像斧头狠狠地劈开了木桩刹那间的钝响。一步，两步，三步……一直走到一百六十九步。每一步都踏下了一个坚实的脚印，每一步都深深地踏在了我的心里。在我耳中，那已经不再是单纯的脚步声，那是一种精神的象征——军人的精神。它是不屈，是奋斗，是坚定，是爱国之情——是多少年来为了国家的繁荣昌盛才踏得出的脚步声。我想也只有中国的士兵们会有这么一种毅力：会为了国家的庆典，为了走好一个正步，每天平均每人走一万八千步，每天流汗两公斤！
当这种声音来到了升旗台上，当红旗伴着国歌而冉冉升起，我心中突然升起一种不可名状的感情。那仿佛是心中有一朵已经沉寂了很久的花苞突然绽放，里面被包含着的液体像喷射的岩浆朝四周溅射出去，洪水般势不可挡地席卷了全身的每一个角落。每一个毛孔都被舒张开来，已不可估计的速度在喷发着什么。
这是军人给我的感动。我为他们赤诚肝胆而感动，为他们精忠报国而感动。在我看来，一个国家的国防力量是否强大，并不取决于他是否有多先进的武器，有多充足的后援，而是通这个国家的军人对祖国的信念决定。不然，抗美援朝时我们又怎会胜利？。
看到那些士兵时，我突然想起了曾经在《读者》杂志上看过的一则故事：
一个驻守边海士的兵问前去采访的记者：“你怎么看中国地图?”

生活在首都的我们，十分幸运的迎接到了一场祖国首次举办的第29届奥林匹克运动会。曾经的金牌零突破到如今的金牌榜第一，再也没有谁敢嘲笑我们是东亚病夫。“神舟五号”宇宙飞船得以成功发射，使中国成为世界上第三个有能力送航天员进入太空的国家，“神舟六号”再奏凯旋，更是显示了祖国航天科技的进步，“神舟七号”终于实现太空出仓，五星红旗第一次在外太空中飘扬。三峡水电站的建成，青藏铁路的通车，无不展现了祖国的巨大变化，展示了国威，增强了中国的国际地位。
