一．Chapter 3知识点补遗
1. frightened常用于下列结构：1）be frightened of 2） be frightened to do sth
I’m frightened of walking home alone in the park.
I’ll be frightened to look out of the airplane window.

cost“（使）花费”，其主语是“事或物”，句型为sth cost(s) sb time/money “某物花了某人时间、金钱”

sb. pay /spend(s)“花费，付（钱）”，主语必须是“人”; 用take时主语必须是“It”
句型为：sb pay (s) money for sth
sb.spend (s) time/money doing…= it takes sb time/money to do

二．语法总结 动词后面接动名词和动词不定式的用法。
I. 下列动词只接动名词:
suggest, practise, mind, enjoy, finish, consider, keep, avoid, miss, imagine, admit, deny,
put off , feel like, give up, can’t help , pay attention to, look forward to…, be worth
II. 以下动词后面既可接to do 也可接 v-ing,且意思不变:
like , love , hate , begin, start, prefer, propose
When did you begin learning // to learn English?
We love reading// to read in the reading room.
I prefer sleeping // to sleep with the windows open.
III. 以下动词后面既可接to do 也可接 v-ing, 但意思差别很大。：
remember to do 记得去做 remember doing 记得（已做）某事
forget to do 忘记去做 forget doing 忘记做过
stop to do 停下来去做另一件事 stop doing 停止做正在做的事
go on to do 接下来去做另一件事 go on doing 做正在做的事
try to do 努力做 try doing 尝试着做
regret to do 很遗憾地做某事 regret doing 为做过某事感到遗憾
mean to do 想做某事 mean doing 意味着…
sb. need to do… 某人需要做 sth / sb need doing…某无需（被）…
