而且歌曲在小学英语中有着特殊意义:
1小学生思维发展的主要特点是从主要以具体形象思维逐步向抽象逻辑思维过渡。即使随着年岁的增大,他们形成概念、理解知识、进行判断也常常离不开直观的感性材料。动人的音乐、明快的节奏可以帮助学生掌握大量内容丰富、生动而准确的感性知识,既符合学生具体形象思维的特点,又有利于学生抽象逻辑思维的发展
2小学生易被新鲜、多变的事物吸引。音乐更容易唤起他们大脑神经系统积极地反应,使学生从有意注意转向无意注意,避免大脑皮层的疲劳,使他们精神饱满、轻松愉快地投入到学习中去。
3学生是有感情的,学生的情感直接影响到他们的学习兴趣及学习效果。小学生的情感易感而外露,随着旋律的起伏变化,在感到松弛、愉快、满足的同时,产生兴奋情绪,继而产生学习的欲望。
4科学的教育应当符合受教育者身心发展的特点和规律。小学阶段的儿童活泼好动、注意力不够集中、自制能力差,但模仿能力强、爱唱爱跳,学习的成效很大程度取决于学习的兴趣,鲜明、生动、形象的英语歌曲符合儿童的认识特点和身心发展要求。
