问一下一个初中英语问题？急急急！

There is（a/an）“f”and （a/an）“u” in the word“four”。
现在我已经知道空里应该填an和a
但是不明白为什么，如果说是原因因素的话，难道u不算是元音？

There is（an）“f”and （a）“u” in the word“four”。要明白，元音前用an，辅音前用a，字母F/ef/是元音/e/开头，而U/ju：/ 是辅音/j/开头

u不是呀，因为他音标的第一个是j，所以是a，音标的第一个是a e i o u才是an
