In today's rapidly developing world. if you have never used Internet before, shame on you. In my way of living standard, I can't live without you--Internet. Internet offers us unprecedented convenience-massive browsable information,communication has become 0 meter distance,etc, but meanwihle,many invisble traps are hiding there.
I came into contact with Internet from Computer games when I was 13, it is probably the same experience like most of the teenagers. Teenagers like excitements and socialization; that is the only essential reason for online games to exist, for them to decay teens' passion of learning and gradually turn it into obsession in games. I would say that living for playing games, or playing games for living is not a good decision. I am glad I have never fallen into addiction of gaming.
Another hazard of Internet is pornography, since it is prohibited I don't want to talk about it. Anyone who has formally educated would know the harmfulness, if you can't help get rid of online porn, I suggest you to consult with a psychologist.
As people learn more about Internet, they find out how advanced and powerful it is, some folks among them just burst to take advantage of it. As the result, we violate the copyright commonly like most the Chinese netizens normally do(including me). Moreover, some decided to join great hacker insurgents; sad for you if you have done that, you 'll spend you whole life to get away from cops. We got to know the button line; we haven't got caught for violating copyrights not because we are protentially lucky, it is just not excessive enough to catch a attention.
I don't understand why some folks focus on the deathend on using Internet, but apparently minority of them. In order to better use Internet, firstly we have to learn the basic knowledge. Such as, be able to identify harmful websites, avoid porns purposely, if inerface of a webpage doesn't look right,too much ads, or sexual picture and words, just quit. Secondly just use Internet as your servant, help you to be organized, to do better in school and your job, or to aptly entertain you. Lastly, I think it the most important message I give you, Internet has exsited only 4 decades, the radical developement must inspire you the opportunity for your future, do you want to start a business on Internet? Do you want to become a programming engineer? There is big chunk of wealth behind Internet, be able to recognize its potential may be your greatest gain.

Whether it is good or not for us to surf on the internet is depend on how we use it.

It is said that more and more youth indulge in the cyberspace too much, so cyberspace is behooved to be responsible for young people’s corruption. Can we just say that money is evil because it lured people to commit crimes? No. Money is created because we need it, so as cyberspace. We can’t reject the internet just because of the misuses of it. Cyberspace does bring a lot of convenience to us.

Firstly, the network challenge traditional ways of doing things and give us an alternative choice in daily life. Take the way to get information for example. Newspapers are always dominant means to get information, but don’t you think it’s boring? Televisions are also pervasive in our daily life, but it always leads us to watch what it wants to show, we have rare chance to order programs. But now what you need is a computer to surf on the internet and search any information you want including videos.

Secondly, cyberspace makes our works more convenient. People can stay at home and transact with other businessmen. What’ more, you don’t need to pay for petrol to drive to the market, wait in a long line to check out or go to many stores in order to get a better price.

Thirdly, the development of internet is a reference point of science and technology level in current society and it promote economic growth.

In a word, internet has become an indispensable in our daily lives. It makes our lives easier.

But every coin has two sides, so as the cyberspace. We have to understand it. Internet won’t be responsible for young people’s corruption. It is our youth that misuse the cyberspace.

Everyone knows QQ and use it almost everyday to communicate with family members, friends and sometimes strangers. QQ can sometimes replace the phones as a high-tech tool for communicating. More and more people believe that they can find their cups of tea through the cyberspace, so they spend much time on chatting with the opposite sex friends in wandering that they can find love. I don’t think it’s feasible. Some one said that e-chat is equal as cheat. Although it doesn’t happen all the time, it is true. What’s more, it takes us too much time and influences our normal lives.

So learning how to use the cyberspace accurately is greatly important to us. We should control ourselves and make good use of it when entering the colorful world. And my suggestion is make a schedule by yourself which will tell you how long you should surf on the internet. Remember to comply with the schedule
