The total amount had been changed almost trible, from 500 km3 to 3000 km3. The main using of the water is for agriculture. Industrial’s and domestic’s use plus together, the cluition is just a half of agreculture’s. And agriculture has a faster increase the other two.
As for the water consumption in Brazil and Congo in 2000, we can realize the difference among different countries. Brazil, a country where Amazon River located at, has 26500 km2 irrigated land and 176 million population. The large amount of water in Amazon bring out the consult of high water consumption per person in 359m3. However, Democractic Republic of Congo seems the opposite side of Brazil, it only has 100km2 irrigated land and 5.2 million population, the water consumption per person is only 8m3.
