Depends on how you schedule your classes. For instance don't take a full course load with a lot of the requirements from your major. Take 1 or 2 core classes and then fluff the rest of your course load with easier classes.
Like a Biology major shouldn't take Chemistry Calc & Physics all at once. Spread it out with classes like English or Art. This way you will have ample time to study and enough time for job.
Work hours should be limited to about 20-25 hours per week though. Or it may get a little rough trying to balance a full course load and a job. Overall you never want your grades to suffer because of some part time job at Applebee's!!
