The stories about Lunar New Year

There are many stories about the Lunar New Year. According to the old people, in ancient times, there was a big monster called " Nian", which brought a lot of disasters to mankind. People were quite upset with it. They prayed to God, who showed them how to make firecrackers to keep the Nian Monster away. Then the day came, and Nian was just to show up when he heard a big bang! Nian got so frightened and disappeared.
People then every year celebrate the day and fire firecrackers. And there are also other stories, but this one shall be the most popular ones.

The new year is coming!Now,it's the time to make the resolutions for the new year.Here is what I am going to do:

1.I am going to get better grades.I'm good at English and Chinese, but I need to improve in my Math.I'll study better!

2.I am going to break my bad habits.I often get up very very late. To get early is good for my health. So I'll get up earlier than usual.
