1 My favourite holiday is Spring Festival. Before the holiday, we begin to get ready . We clean the house and buy a lot of things. My mother buys new clothes for each of us. Mother and Father don’t go working during the holiday. We going shopping in the day time and play cards at night. We are all very happy. Mother always cook a lot of delicious food for us. My favourite food is dumplings. We eat dumplings on New Year’s eve. On Spring Festival, all of us did nothing but play. Not only children but also parents eat and play the whole day. All of us enjoy the festival very much. What a wonderful festival. I hope the next Spring Festival comes quickly.

2 My favorite holiday is New Year’day.It is a very important festival in Chinese cultrue.In fact,it's the highlight of the year.Everyone returns home for a family reunion.We have a big feast and chat about all the things that have happened in our lives.People also visit each other.We exchange gifts and good wishes for the next year.

New Year’day is especially fun for kids.That's because we get presents and treats,including red envelopes filled with money.We also get to set off fireworks.But we never forget that this holiday is a time to give thanks.We feel grateful for our family and the things that we have.Finally,we think about the future and the great year ahead.
