Ratatouille
A rat named Remy dreams of becoming a great French chef despite his family’s wishes and the obvious problem of being a rat in a decidedly rodent-phobic profession. Paul is a rebellious journalist, and his brother, Norman is a level-headed, grounded teacher. The film chronicles their intertwining and often conflicting lives, focusing on Norman's point of view, as they grow up in the shadow of their Presbyterian minister father. The biggest silent stars at Monumental Pictures, Don Lockwood (Gene Kelly) and Lina Lamont (Jean Hagen), are in the middle of filming their latest movie, ‘The Dueling Cavalier’, when the sound revolution takes the industry by storm. With the help of his partner and longtime friend, piano player Cosmo Brown (Donald O’Connor), Don decides to turn the movie into a musical, ‘The Dancing Cavalier.’ But there’s a problem: Lina’s shrill voice. Professional photographer L.B. "Jeff" Jeffries (Stewart) breaks his leg while getting an action shot at an auto race. Confined to his New York apartment, he spends his time looking out of the rear window observing the neighbours. He begins to suspect that the man opposite may have murdered his wife. Jeff enlists the help of his society model girlfriend Lisa Freemont (Kelly) and his nurse Stella (Ritter) to help him investigate.
