Jim and Jacky are in the same class.They had a discussion about being a teacher in the future.Jim has a dream to be a teacher.He says that being a teacher is very glorious and meaningful,and it's good for our contry.But Jack holds a different view.He thinks that being a teacher is not good,for teachers can only get a low pay.They have no bright future.And many teachers can't afford to buy a house or a car for themselves.What's more,a teacher's work is boring and the life is simple.In my opinion,I agree with Jim.I want to be a teacher too.I believe that education is the greatest cause（事业） in the world.

How have you been lately? Sorry for the late reply as exam is around the corner and I have been rather busy with school work.

You mentioned in your previous letter that you aspired to be a teacher who would nurture the next generation talents for the nation. i am truly impressed. However, as noble as teaching and nurturing talent might seem to be, i feel that teacher today are not been respected to the level as they should. Increasingly, with commercializing of schools, a teacher's job is not only confined to teaching and instilling knowledge and moral principles but also to satisfy the economic interest of the school. As such, teachers are viewed as commercial tools who are been squeezed on their salary and deprived of the level of the welfare they deserved. Hence, i am not fully supportive of your aspiration. Nevertheless, it is good to be motivated by aspiration.

As it is getting late, i shall stop penning further. Hope to hear from you soon. All the best!
