1.我的家乡
My hometown, which is in the south of Shandong Province, is a very beautiful village. It lies on the east bank of a small river, surrounded by green mountains, In the past my hometown was poor, and people led a hard life. They couldn't afford to send their children to school. But ,great changes have taken place in my hometown in the past twenty years. Many families .have not only color TV sets, but also telephones, fridges, computers, and so on. New roads, houses, schools, hospitals have been built. People in my hometown are working hard for a better life.

2.我的家乡
My hometown is a beautiful place with a population of eight million.
It stands beside the Gulf Bohai.
Tianjin has many high office and commercial buildings and wide treelined streets. Several excellent worldfamous institutions of higher learning are located here, namely Nankai University and Tianjin University. As a most important industrial center for North China, her hundreds of factories and joint ventures with foreign companies manufacture a wide range of topgrade and high-tech products or consumer goods. Many of these products have attained or surpassed world levels. Markets and department stores, big or small, are well-stocked with all kinds of goods, which are high in quality but low in price.
But in the old days,Tianjin used to be a poor and backward city characteristic of semi-colonialism and semi-feudalism. The few rich persons lived in luxury houses while the majority of the working people lived in old, shabby huts or buildings on narrow and muddy streets. The working class led a very miserable life.
Today people in Tianjin are going all out to build their city into a beautiful and prosperous place to live in.

3.健康与财富
With the development of society, people notice more importance to wealth and health. But which is more important? Actually, different people have different opinions. The first group of people quote the old saying "Health is above wealth" to prove their idea. They argue that, on the one hand, a strong person can do almost anything as long as he/she tries hard. On the other hand, however, rich people will not be able to enjoy the wealth if their days are numbered.

Someone believes wealth is more important. They even say, money can not bring you everything, but without money, you can do nothing. You may die quickly. In order to accumulate more money, they can do anything. Even some illegal ways.

However other people regard health is more important. Once health lost, it is no use having a lot of money .Everybody wants to live a happy life, so they try their best to earn money which can ensure they lead a comfortable life. If happiness and comfort are achieve at the cost of their health, how can they be happy?

As far as I am concerned, I love wealth, but i value health more. So I will try to keep the balance between wealth and health. I hope I can find a good way to achieve it.

4.健康与财富
So far as the topic Health and Wealth is concerned, different people have different opinions about it. Some think that wealth means everything. To them , wealth or having a lot of money can help them to do what they want to do. With a lot of money , they can buy the beautiful house, expensive car, beautiful clothes , and so on. They even have the idea that they can buy happiness which they like.

On the other hand, some other people don’t agree with those people mentioned above. They believe that Healthy is more important than wealth. First, you can enjoy a happier life with healthy body than those wealthy people with poor health. Second, a healthy body is the foundation for a successful career. Third, a healthy body is also necessary for accumulating wealth.

In a word, keeping health first if you want become wealthy. It is well-known that a person can make a large fortune if he has the right opportunities during his life. But if the person suffers from a terrible illness, then no matter how much money he may earn, he will still lead a miserable life. Therefore, health is much more important than wealth.
