There are many rules and regulations in our school, most of which are reasonable and beneficial, because they can help us to form good habits and create a good environment for our studies. However, I believe some of the rules and regulations are so strict and stiff that they would impose much pressure on us and thus in return make the whole environment unhealthy for us. I here would like to make some proposals to the school authority.
Firstly, according to school rules, keeping with us electronic dictionaries is prohibited. This prohibition was due to the worries from many English teachers that electronic dictionary would take place of the paper-dictionary, such as the “Oxford Dictionary " which is considered as one of the most authoritative dictionaries in the world because of its detailed definitions and interpretations of words and phrases.
However, I believe it is necessary as well as helpful for us to keep an electronic dictionary with us. ---- Keeping an electronic dictionary with us does not mean that we would stop looking up our paper-dictionary to learn more. Most of us just consider the electronic dictionary as a complementary tool with the paper one. Let me give you an example: sometimes, when we encounter some new words and phrases for which we just want to look up their literary meanings but don't want to learn more about them ,the electronic dictionary can meet our needs in a few seconds but the paper-dictionary would cost much more time . Under such circumstances, the electronic dictionary is our first choice for its convenience and efficiency. Therefore, I firmly believe that it is reasonable as well as necessary for us to keep with us an electronic dictionary.
Secondly, according to the school rules ,all the students should wear the same kind of clothes when in school . I harbor the idea that it is unnecessary to do so, because there is no necessary connections between a student's behavior in school with his or her clothes , or in a more plain way --- wearing beautiful clothes doesn't mean the student would divert his or her attention from studies to clothes . In sharp contrast , as youngsters, it is not unusual that we want ourselves to be more beautiful and attractive .So I believe that the diversity of clothes should be allowed .Furthermore, I believe our colorful clothes will make our school a more pleasant place to live and study .
Thirdly, according to school rules, student should not study together with each other. I believe this rule is a ridiculously absurd one. No body in the world is an island, thus we need others help and companion. Studying with other students can make our study more efficient and more interesting. When we encounter some problems, which is impossible to be solved by our own ability, if we study with other students, we can ask for their help, solving that problems by a much more powerful strength rather than by one's own single, weak and limited strength.

Above all are my proposals to the school authority, which represent the true feelings of most students among us . I do hope the authority would put their feet on our shoes to give some attentions to our real feelings, helping to get rid of those stiff rules and regulations, making our school a more arresting place for all students to live and study.
